What is your fluid intake like ?Are you drinking at least 2.5 litres a day ?
Also, are you stretching after a run and holding long enough ?
I have tried to drink a lot today but it has been hot I’ll try and drink more for my next run! I thought the 5 min walk was warm up enough would you stretch before hand? Thanks for replying
As a runner you would ideally be drinking at least 2.5 litres a day , even on non running days .Drinking just before a run really is too late .
Your hydration can make a huge difference to how your legs feel on a run .
This FAQ may help .

As far as the stretching is concerned , I was referring to after run static stretches .
Some do (including myself) Dynamic warm up excercises as well .
It is important that you do not mix these excercises up .
All this is mentioned in the program guide .
