Took it a bit slower today than the previous 2 30min runs, but still managed to cover 4.7km so I'm pleased with that. Thanks for all the messages of support following my first post on Saturday - all really helpful! For most of it a "chatty" pace! Certainly intend doing the 3 runs a week now & hopefully it'll get easier.....
Just graduated!: Took it a bit slower today than... - Couch to 5K
Just graduated!
Congratulations! It’s such a great achievement. I hope you’re celebrating! 🏅 🏃♀️ 🎉
One of the best tips I was given after graduating was that not every run needs to be 30 minutes to count as a good run. Mixing things up with some shorter ones, intervals, new routes, hills etc will keep things fresh.
When you say you hope it gets easier, it sounds like you might be still pushing a bit hard. It took me ages to crack the conversational pace. Keep trying-it really is worth it. You’ve got hundreds of runs ahead of you-it’s worth making the effort to reduce your effort now! The Nike run club recovery runs are great for helping with finding that easy pace.
Well done to you again!
Slow and steady and you will get there. Congratulations on your Graduation.
Now, just be a tad kinder to yourself, and ease back... you just need now to let the running evolve...
Let the new legs take you and just go with them... and as you move on, remember to up the exercise on some of your rest days.
Many congratulations on your graduation, fellow runner.

Congratulations 🍾🎊🎉🎈 to you 😀
Congratulations!!!
Congratulations on completing C25K!
Well done...yeah. 👏
Congratulations! Enjoy your consolidation runs!👏🥇🏆
Be pleased, be very pleased. I think you are well ahead of average! I'm well down the road of consolidating but some way off breaking 4k in 30 minutes. As they say at your own pace, you still have a target on your back for a load of us, albeit for me a dot in the distance😁.
Congratulations to you Oldblokeattheback on graduating from C25K, I am not sure about your username, I don't think you are old and I am sure you would not be at the back of any race if you took part in one.
Congratulations Oldbloke. 4.7km is quite a respectable distance so you should be really pleased. I have only managed 5km in 42mins and that was after more than 20 post-graduation consolidation runs. I think I covered less than 4km on my graduation run.
