Excuse me for a moment while I have a mini celebration, just completed week 5 run 3 and I'm feeling so chuffed with myself. As long as I don't let my brain think about what I'm doing my legs can keep going πŸ€ͺπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Excellent!Well done, you'll be smiling for ages now 😬

Take your time with week 6 runs 1 &2 as they often catch people out with going back to intervals.

Thanks and yes I definitely am 😁Week 4 was more difficult for me than week 5 was so I'm not underestimating week 6 and I know there are plenty more major hurdles ahead.

Absolutely week 4 is a challenge!Week 5 run 3 is a mental challenge but you did it .

I found week 5 onwards all good fun and I'm sure you'll find them all achievable, have fun πŸ˜πŸ‘

Congratulations to you MOuse on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran πŸƒπŸΎ 😊

Thanks, never really thought I'd get this far so at the moment I'm buzzing πŸ˜ƒ but I'll bear in mind the warning, most of you lovely people are saying the same thing so I'm not putting any pressure or expectations on myself I'll just see how it goes.

You will manage those first 2 runs of week 6 without any problems as long as you take them slow and steady, after run 2 of week 6 all further runs are non stop with no walking breaks.

Well done! Finishing Week 5 gains you bragging rights.

Week 6 will extend your session lengths yet again, to get you up to doing that extra five minutes.

Week 7 will cement that ability in place, and then Weeks 8 and 9 will stretch you a little bit more.

Thanks, it feels like there's a long way to go but at the same time it's within reach πŸ˜ƒ

Yes, the emphasis shifts after Week 5 from the quick increases to a more gradual build.

Well done - it’s a great feeling achieving that one. Wk6r1 did catch me out but I continued more slowly than previously and got through it, as you will! Good luck for week 6. I’m hopefully completing run 3 of week 6 today but legs are sore after hiking yesterday
