Well done.

Do make sure that you are jogging slow enough to be able to speak aloud clear ungasping sentences as you go..........it doesn't matter if you can walk faster..........as advised in the guide to the plan, healthunlocked.com/couchto5... which is essential reading.

Take it slow.

You may need to try walking briskly for thirty minutes on a regular basis before you start jogging.

Have fun.

If you don't have fun then you probably won't persist.

C25k is based on the NO PAIN, NO PAIN principle.

Well done FenGirl1 ! It’s so great to see that you started! 🤩🤩🤩. As IannodaTruffe says, go really slowly, much slower than you think you need to, and hopefully you’ll be able to complete that run next time. Good luck 😊.

I did exactly the same, thought I could start and do the first couple of runs easily but Run1 was a failure, then I realised that I was running too fast and slowed right down ( didn’t realise you could actually run that slow) then I found a rhythm and pace that suited me and away I went. Good Luck

Well done. That first step, out the door, is one of the hardest

Great start, do not worry about how fit you "think you are", follow the programme, slowly, and realise how fit you actually are.
