One for the ladies...

It should have been my W9R3 today but I've taken an extra day for recovery as I started to get some chafing. Having done a tonne of research, it seems thigh chafing is really common but my problem, under-carriage chafing, less so. Anyway, I am now armed with Lanacane anti chafing gel and a natty pair of Runderwear shorts (the jury is out as to whether they are actually underwear or if it's socially acceptable to wear them commando as shorts - but needs must 🤭🤣). I can attest to them staying put and being comfy as anything - or nothing!

So... onwards and upwards, and tomorrow is my graduation run. I have a new playlist ready with all my favourite feel good tunes, my new Runderwear shorts, the gel and a barrow-ful of determination!

Oh no, don't tell me I've got that to worry about too! I've already experienced some elsewhere thanks to an ill-fitting sports bra but that's all sorted now!

Good idea to delay that graduation run though, you don't want anything to spoil it. Enjoy it tomorrow, hopefully it'll be cooler for you. I'm just heading out now to complete W8 before it gets too hot.

I think my shorts must have been ill fitting like your bra! A rogue rough seam. They have been relegated to exercise shorts now. I think you will be fine but if not, my new Runderwear is fab so I thoroughly recommend it! Hope you managed your run ok today, it's 31 degrees here in Essex 😯!

So important to have comfortable clothes isn't it?! And always good to have a recommendation, thank you. Although I really don't need any excuses to buy any more running apparel 😂

I survived W8R3 here in Wiltshire but got back just before 10 and it was already way too warm by then 🥵

Another option which a lady I know uses is a running skort (combined skirt/shorts).

Thanks for that. I'm going to stick with my new shorts for now. Maybe I should cover up more but I'm not going to! (My top is fairly long so I am decent)

I think you need items with flat stiched seams. I swear by Sturdy by Design, no chafing, but also I don't go commando!. I think Oldfloss is a fan of runderwear

Loads of shorts look like underwear now. All the teens are wearing those Nike Pro ones round here as casual wear. I’m sure nobody will pay any attention.

Really good luck with your graduation run. Hopefully with the cooler weather due that will help with the chafing issues.

The shirts sound perfect and chafing isn’t fun wherever it is

Just been looking at Runderwear - looks like what I need but the prices are more than I can afford. Does anyone know of any cheaper versions?

The Runderwear women's long shorts are on sale atm - £11 each I think, rather than £22. I stocked up!

Thanks for this tip off! I’ve just ordered a half price bra and some hot pants. Hope the delivery is speedy! Love new kit.

My delivery came and I am so pleased! The shorts are so comfortable. I’ve got the short ones so I don’t think I’ll be wearing them on their own but they’re fab. The easy on bra is also super comfortable and seems like it’ll be very supportive. Much nicer than my current selection. This could end up an expensive new discovery! Thanks again for the recommendation.
