I have completed week 7, but only at a jog. I cannot seem to move any faster. Does it matter?

Dosent matter at all !The programme is not about speed or distance .
It's just about running time .
The rest is irrelevant .
Infact your runs should be at a pace where you could speak full sentences without gasping for breath .
Anything more than that is too fast .
Running at a conversational pace is what's going to build a strong aerobic base .
Have aook at this.
A jog is a run, a run at a steady pace is a jog. A run is a run. You're doing great, don't worry 👍🏻😁

Congratulations on reaching week 7. If you’re not walking, you’re running. Pace doesn’t matter. You’re doing great.
The technical difference between a walk and a run, or jog, is that when walking at least one foot is in contact with the ground at any given time. When running, at some point on each stride, both feet should be clear of contact.
It is possible to run on the spot, so it is nothing to do with how quickly you cover ground.
Of course it doesn’t matter, I’m slower than slow but I’m still running and I’m even a little faster than I was last year
I'm on week 7 too and it does tickle me when I'm told not to run too fast at the beginning or I will tire myself out. My legs just seem to go at a certain pace (slow jog) at their own will and I would find it difficult to go any slower or faster. Hopefully things build up over time. Any we have to pay ourselves on the back to have got this far. Go get it!!!
