I completed C25K in 2020 and continued running for some time but last winter and icy paths literally stopped me in my tracks and I’ve been giving myself every excuse since. This weekend I sat down and wrote a for and against list, what I was afraid might happen if I started again verses what I hoped might happen.
This time feels different, knowing from the beginning that’s it’s not just possible to get to wk 9 but that I’m going to enjoy it, is really empowering.
Journaling my runs on here last time kept me accountable so here I am back once again, music blasting!
We got this 👊🏻

Welcome back! Over the past months we have had so many folk returning to repeat, for one reason or another. The pandemic of course, responsible for so many changes!
You do, as you say, know the form. You know what is coming, you absolutely know you can do this.
It may be an idea to just check out the pinned post reminding you of all that you may need to know.
Do, as well in a couple of weeks, pop into our Catch-up Corner. New revamped corner for June!
There are loads of folk there, newbies, repeaters and seasoned runners. Loads of cushions for everyone and a great place to keep you on track and focused
So.. well done and on you go and yes, I am still saying it. Keep it slow and steady!
Thanks 😊 and don’t worry slow and steady is my mantra. My biggest fear is injury so lots of strength training in between runs, lots of dynamic stretching before and more stretching after. Slow Japanese style for me for a while 😂
Hey you!! Lovely to hear from you and congratulations on nanny duties and happier work life. Life can get in the way can’t it, but this weekend I have myself a good talking to and decided to ditch the excuses and I’m glad I did, felt better all day knowing I’m getting back to something that gave me such joy 😊
Well done to you 👏👏👏. I would love to get back out there but got a few health issues to resolve first, walking is all I can do - but still participating in that..Will be here cheering you on 💕
Oh no I’m so sorry to hear that! Hopefully you’ll be back to it soon I know how much you loved it. It was the support in here that got me through last time AND looking forward to your posts each time you ran 💕
Definitely keep up the journalling. I've written up every single run since my original W3R3 run (sometimes in more detail than necessary), and it's kept me honest with myself.
