I've just finished W4 R3 and it was a challenge! That last 5 min run was what I class as uphill (though my ex-triathlon partner says it's barely a slope 🙄) and I was actually wondering whether I was going too slow, as my legs felt like they were seizing up continually doing the same movement, so I adjusted my gait and that seemed to help a tad.
Wondering now what week 5 has in store... I will trust the process and hopefully report success in a week's time...

Congratulations on sticking in there and pushing on through. I found week 4 the toughest one. Hope week five is good for you. As you say, the programme is well designed.
If you really want to know what W5 brings there is a link to a spreadsheet view of the whole plan in the guide or there is a breakdown of just W5, healthunlocked.com/couchto5... which explains the rationale...........it is different to other weeks.
But as you say, if you trust the process you will succeed and be grinning like a loon at the end of the week.
Well done! I'm at the same stage as you, but I am repeating cto5k after a short break from running. Running uphill very slowly is great, it builds strength. Good luck with week 5!
I'm at the same stage too, now on my third attempt thanks to injury and then Covid. I always seem to hit a hill for the last 5 min run, regardless of what route I take!
