this will be about the 4th time (I think) I have done c25k to kick start my running bug, i was going good up until the end of last year having done c25k, 10k, and half marathons (2018 - 2019) , however things came crashing down in November 2021, I lost my dad to sepsis and then caught covid. some people can pour themselves into what they do as a mechanism to help with their grief, I was the opposite, I stopped running and gained weight..
but this morning at 6:30 I can proudly say I was up and starting week 4 of c25k, I've missed the feeling running brings me, and although I had no closure with my dads passing I feel close to him now when I run.
here's to completing c25k again and progressing my running journey further ... here's to you dad

So sorry to hear about your dad. That must be so difficult. Totally understandable that you needed some time. Congratulations to getting back out there and I’m sure he would have been proud of you for doing so. Keep posting, we’ll keep cheering you on. You know you’ve got this.
That's admirable! You've been though so much yet you're up and running, that takes some strength. I'm glad you have found that you feel closer to your dad when you run, I think part of the healing process after bereavement is when you start to look after yourself and get physically stronger. You've got the whole of summer ahead of you, I hope you really enjoy it.
