WK7R3 I killed it but it killed me too!

Ticked off wk7r3 today, it was the toughest so far, kept waiting for it to get easier like it usually does but not today! Only run so far that I’ve not really enjoyed or got a buzz from afterwards. Dehydration was to blame which I realized about 2 mins in, still not drinking enough water! I applied for a job today and so engrossed in that I forgot to drink enough. Still, I kept going right till the end, which I am pleased about. Roll on week 8!

Well done for sticking with it. You did it and that’s the important thing. I’m sure your next one will be great, especially with the learning about hydration.

Thank you yes, just keep chugging the clear stuff, that’s what can make a big difference to my runs I am realizing more and more.

Great hydration every day is essential. Just try to get into the habit of keeping a bottle of water ( tap water is fine), by your side, and sip as you work.

Make sure you are putting on that core strbgth and stamina work too, on some of your rest days. Your running self has got to keep up with the new running legs:)

Well done you !

It's strange how sometimes the third run of the week is the worst. Mine was W4R3. I put that one down to the weather. I was running in a brief gap between torrential deluges. It was misty, humid and warm. The next one, W5R1, was on a crisp bright summer morning and I absolutely loved it.

Hope the next one is better and I will be more hydrated for that definitely!
