Hey everyone, haven’t posted on here for a couple of years but just thought I’d jump on and post about progress. I completed the C25K programme a couple of years ago, but couldn’t seem to make it stick as a regular part of life, I lost touch with it and stopped it altogether. Having quit smoking too at that time I was using the running programme as a way of helping me through the no-smoking phase, when it stopped - the smoking didn’t start but the weight gain did. 2 extra stone to be exact.

Anyway I lost 1.5 stone of it recently and decided to get back into the running again, which I did and have now graduated the programme for the second time two weeks or so ago, I’ve been sticking to the routine of getting out there and jogging 30 mins 3 times each week, this week I’ve let go of the app and completed my first run without someone telling me how long I had left to go which actually went better than expected. I was familiar with the route so I knew approx how long I had been out for but something felt different, when Sarah was talking in my ear saying I had 15/10/5 mins left I found I struggled at those intervals until I got back in my stride but I didn’t have that this morning and I felt better about that.

I’m enclosing pictures of my logged run today (not that I understand most it anyway haha)

I don’t know how I would change to being a graduate on here but I just wanted to tell abit of my story and how I got to my finish line :-)

Rach x

Ah hello I remember you quitting around the same time as me. It’s nice to speak to you. Thank you so much it’s been a long battle but I suppose none of that matters as long as you get to the end result no matter how long it takes. Thank you for your comment and well done to you on everything you have achieved too :-)
