Glitchy couch to 5k app?

Has anyone had an issue with the app pausing itself while they’re running? I was happily running today and thought Denise was a bit quiet, I looked at the app and saw that it had paused itself during my run. Luckily I had my Strava switched on so I was able to figure out how long I had been running for - but I really like the app and getting the count downs, so not having them threw me off my stride. This isn’t the first time it’s happened to me either… it’s sooo annoying!! 🤦‍♀️

Yes, unfortunately it is not that uncommon!I had it stop several times when a telephone call came in .

Frustrating but all you can do would be to report it to the developer from your download site

Report it to the developers via your download site.........but don't hold your breath.

You could always use the old school podcasts, which give all the same information, but unfortunately you have to listen to the music choice of ............how can I put it .......... someone whose music choice doesn't coincide with mine.

It would be worth changing your battery optimisation settings to see if that helps xxx

Definitely one to check. Some phones are very aggressive in power management of background apps.

Also, it will automatically pause when a phone call comes in. (Something I noticed when originally doing W1R2 and a walk section seemed to be going on far too long.)
