Hello - I cannot find the Couch to 5K app in the Google Play store. I am in the US, so I'm wondering whether perhaps it is not available to us here in the US?
Thank you for any/all info!

Sad news-it isn’t available abroad. That’s why you can’t find it.
Welcome to the forum.
The NHS app is not available outside the UK unless you know how to hide your location, say by using a VPN. Otherwise, as already mentioned, your other option are the podcasts or one of the many other Couch to 5k variant apps available worldwide. You would still be welcome on the forum whichever method you use.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5....
and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
Enjoy your journey.
Hi AnnetteandMike , I'm in France and used the podcasts instead, which were fine, and introduced me to "music" that I'd never otherwise have encountered. If you haven't run to the Julie song, you haven't lived!
Bear in mind that alternative Couch to 5K programmes might differ in length and ultimate goal. The NHS-promoted one has a target of 30 minutes, not 5km.
I used the Zen Labs App version very successfully. I think it cost something like five bucks back in 2016. It varies a wee bit from the UK one - a week less, and some of the segments were a tad different, but same principal and certainly got me off the couch and a heck of a lot of fun and achievements running since
Thank you all for your answers. We will try a US one. We have used the podcasts in the past, but were hoping for an app. All is well. Thanks again!
