W8r3 - a great run!

I stumbled across a great route today. Flat for the first ten minutes, the end of the toxic 10 coincided with a slight incline and my last 10 mins was downhill! Perfect!

Happy to know that you found a great route to run for the final week of C25K, keep to that route for the last 3 runs, good luck for your graduation run 🏃🏾.

Huge well done you ... a good route and downhill can be great fun and so good for our morale:) It might make you giggle though to know that I actually move faster when going uphill.

Yesterday my first lap, downhill was very slow, my last lap back up.. 3 minutes faster! :)

On you go. steady and slow x

Must have been a steep hill! I visited your catch up corner. Really enjoyed it and I've bookmarked a couple of the stretches and exercises that focus on knees and feet (traditionally my weak points) to add to my normal routine.

Just a long and steady downhill, then the same back up... I nearly always move faster uphill than down, as the years have passed. I am surrounded by inclines steep or long wherever I run at home... I use them as warm ups now, whereas they used to really feel hard when I began C25K.

I bet they did. How long have you been running?

Started at aged 65 in 2015... :) I smile now when I run up little slopes that I used to think were hills. I do like the longer slower up hill rather than the short very steep ones though! The phot shows my favourite warm up...this is the middle section of the long uphill climb from the village... the last bit is short but steep! The best bit is running down it !

years ago I used to that very quickly.. not so much now!

Behind me is the short steepest bit of the hill..

Yes it's a nice neighbourhood so I can stay interested for 3 more runs. I have a low boredom threshold though so I'll have to switch to some parks/woods for consolidation.
