Horrible run w8r3

Did w8 r3 after work this evening . Didn't enjoy it. Went a different route - not particularly difficult route. Could hardly put one foot in front of the other all the way, but I stuck it out for the 28 minutes. One of those bad runs I expect for whatever reason . Won't let it put me off . Onto week 9 in a couple of day's time . It will be better!! Maybe go back to the boring old golf course which is familiar territory.

Hi Bonnie, yes I had the same thing happened to me , cant remember if it was Week 7 or Week 8, but I had a mare, really had to dig in to complete it, and so did you. Dont worry, its just one of those things, but you did it, its done and dusted, job completed :-)

Onwards to Week 9 - your Graduation Week ! Keep going Missus, you are on the home strait now, onwards and upwards, Good Luck ! :-) xxx

We need the bad runs to recognise the great ones. Almost there, good luck

Try not to think of it. You finished and good luck for week 9. You are nearly there well done

The main thing was that you stuck it out despite it being a bad run. Sometimes the battle is more mental than physical, I find. Bad runs make the good ones even better - roll on week 9.

good luck for week 9, the best is coming :)

You kept going and finished! Well done! That's not a bad run at all, that's a completed run! It'll make Week 9 so much sweeter... maybe start off a tiny bit slower next time... You're doing great! Keep at it... the badge is being readied...

I had a similar run last week, i thought how long is 25minutes! Anyway you did it and that is better than not doing it. Only three more runs until graduation!!! i won't be far behind you. Not a bad idea going back to familiar ground if that helps

Oooh I've had a few of those. Week 7, Run 3 was a horror for me, every step was difficult. Well done on sticking it out and good luck with Week 9! I'll be starting it myself tomorrow night. Looks like we'll be graduation buddies :)

Thanks for the replies. I like the idea of needing bad runs in order to recognise the good ones. As for starting off slower , I'd be going backwards!
