Just completed Wk 3. Looking forward to week 4 but with a little trepidation. Today's run wasn't the easiest!

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.

There is no need to have any trepidation about any C25k run. It is a training plan, not the Spanish Inquisition.

This FAQ Post about mental approach may help healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Slow down, relax and enjoy your journey.

As already advised by IannodaTruffe .There really is nothing to fear about ANY run on the program !

It's just a run .

And the one you did previously has prepared you well for the next one , just trust the program and enjoy 😁👍

Congratulations on week 3!

I don't know why some runs feel so hard and others are much easier. It doesn't make sense sometimes.

I actually found week 4 a lot easier than I expected. The 5 minutes seemed like they would be really hard, but in fact they were doable and I started to get excited about how much farther I could get when I was running.

Good luck!

Everything going on in our lives can impact on our performance as a runner. Restedness, hydration and nutrition are at the top of my list of variables that need to be optimised to enable enjoyable running.

Hi B, well done on completing wk3 I think we all struggle with the odd week in the program, mine was wk5 so took the advice to slow down and focused more on my breathing, it worked well. Stay focused on the good runs you have had 🤸
