A hilly field & very uneven ground including tractor ruts which were particularly hard.
On the return leg in one area it was so wet & muddy that my trainers kept sinking;
I persevered but then *bump* the mud wanted my trainer and equally I wanted to keep my trainer!
I carried on & completed the run & and wizzed home for a hot shower!

average pace 7’19” and 4.5k. Very happy if a bit hot as I put my long sleeve fluorescent yellow top...
