I was a bit anxious about running 20 minutes in one go, especially because I found run 2 slightly harder than I expected, but it was fantastic. I ran (very slowly) up to a nature reserve and along beside the river so there was lots to see and think about other than how tired I was. It was surprisingly easy. In fact, at the end I was comfortable to keep going, so I did, and ended up running for 25 minutes. I would never have imagined that I could do this a few weeks ago

Well done! 👍
However, do be careful not to overdo it in your enthusiasm.
And remember that the return of intervals in week 6 catches many people out. Remember to keep the speed under control.

Well done on completing week 5 run 3 !That's
a milestone run in the program .
You'll be smiling all day now 😁
Try and resist the temptations to run longer though .
Take your time with week 6 run 1 as going back to intervals often catches people out .
