After Tuesday when I found the return to hills rather difficult I really didn’t want to go out today and fully intended to repeat run 2. But I had a senior moment as I set off and forgot to select R2 so R3 podcast started to play. I decided that it was OK because I could track it on my watch. I also tried a different route, as it’s been dry for a while I went into the woods. It was lovely, I completely forgot to use my watch and had it set at heart rate which is what I always used to use on my longer runs. Before I knew it Sanjeev was telling me I’d done 12.5 minutes and I still felt great so I plodded on.
Then it was just 60 seconds to go, I even did an extra minute as Tia had a wee break about 1 minute in.
Thanks everyone for telling me to believe in myself, this felt like it used to when I regularly ran 6-10k and for the first time since losing Craig I feel I can do that again!
