Decided to start again, still recovering from Covid at Christmas but I didn’t want to leave it so long. Wk1 run 1 on my new treadmill. I would like to say it was easy but it wasn’t but I did it and am glad I made the effort but might need to move slowly through the weeks this time. I want to be outside running the 30 minutes in spring that’s my target.

We didn't have covid at Xmas, but everyone else did, our expected visitors couldn't come

I've just got a new treadmill too. Originally I got it so that I can run a couple of times a week before work in winter. Strangely it arrived Tuesday, the day I tested positive for Covid!!! As I seem to have no symptoms, it's a godsend !!

Mine arrived the day before I tested positive but it’s set up I have found a space for it, and I intend to use it alongside hopefully going out door when I feel able and the weather is kinder. Enjoy your running

Well done for starting up again ☺️ I'm in a similar situation following COVID in October and trying to get back into running.

It’s really hard but self belief and determination is what we have. We can do this x

Well done. But I'm so jealous of you. I picked up a lung infection in August which put me in hospital for two weeks. I long to get out and start C25K again but at the moment walking the circuit I used to run around gets me more out of breath now than it ever did running it. Good luck.....hopefully I'll manage W1 again soon and not be too far behind you getting back to running 30 mins again.

Oh no so sorry to hear that you ended up in hospital I do count my blessings that I was able to cope at home. Take your time we will get there

Well done Poppdog 😁 Softly, softly catchy monkey 🐵 I'm still not 100% from October 2021, but I am doing what I can when I can and am grateful to be on the road to healing.

Be kind, be realistic, be careful - we are all here to help each other 🙏 Keep posting and just do what you can manage 🤗

Thanks it’s really frustrating how debilitating it can be I need to remind myself to take it slow but so glad I made a start. Take care x
