Painful foot

Help I have some pain in my right foot. It extends from my heel down the lateral aspect of my foot. Only started since I've been doing regular 5k after I graduated C25K. I'm going to stop running for a few days and I have found some exercises through the C25K app but any other advice would be gratefully received. I have had a gait analysis and bought my running shoes based on that.😥

My uneducated guess is Plantar Fasciitis, but I'm just this random bloke on the internet.

If you're really concerned, and it doesn't go away, consult a professional. My suggestion would be a physio rather than a GP.

You could be right as I've just googled it and my symptoms fit quite well with plantar fasciitis. It's definitely worse when I first get up on a morning. I will look for some exercises. Thanks .

As another random bloke on the internet I would second the advice of nowster to consult with a physio.

PF can be tricky to overcome and an early diagnosis will be hugely beneficial.
