Just smashed my first run tonight once I climbed out of my own head! It was great to get used to my feet and body on the move. Pace may have been a tad fast, but I will get it right soon.
Any Huawei P Smart phone advice please? I followed the guidance and checked my settings but the app kept stopping and I had to reset after most sections whether that be walking or running. I WAS popping in and out to select music on occasion, but not every time. Might that have been the reason? Any advice gratefully received. Thanks.

As far as pace is concerned say this sentence out loud to yourself "Am I going slow enough to enable me to speak this sentence in one out breath?" If you cannot, you are going too fast.
It doesn't matter if you can walk faster than your jog. That easy conversational pace is what builds your stamina, because your blood will be well oxygenated. Faster is not better at this stage.
I don't have any suggestions re the phone apart from try uninstalling and reinstalling and don't run too many apps at the same time.
If the app doesn't work, you could try the podcasts, as linked to in the guide to the plan.
Are the podcasts direct alternatives to the app and the individual run sessions supported by the celebs? Or can I run the programme via the internet? I'd really like to have Denise Lewis motivating me along the way. Thanks.
As stated in the guide to the plan, healthunlocked.com/couchto5... which is full of tips, the podcasts are just mp3 files with exactly the same information on them, but the coach voice is that of the goddess of C25k, Laura.
You also cannot use your own music, as that is provided, but might not be to your liking.
For us old school types, who had no choice, you are not a proper graduate until you have listened to "Julie", a song designed to get you to the end as fast as possible..........but as it is timed, it doesn't help.
