Hello! A very unfit middle aged bloke here who has decided it is now or never for losing the extra weight I have been carrying round for years. C25k looks perfect for me as I'm not a natural runner, I'll probably be coming up with lots of stupid questions going forward...

Hello and welcome to the forum and the program! And well done on deciding to start.

Have a look through the program guide before you start.

It packed with useful information to help you succeed.

Ask away! Most of us started from a similar situation.

No such thing as a stupid question on this forum! Good luck. Above all, keep it slow and steady.

Welcome to the madness 😜Youl be hooked before you know it!!!

Ask away.. no such thing as a stupid question 😂

Always brilliant advise here ☺️

Good luck with your journey 🏃🏃🏃

I graduated the program a year past in November.. middle aged woman..

Just in from a HM Run, never imagined for a minute I'd be running in the pouring rain, sloshing through puddles knakered but doing it!

You can too 😜🙏👍💥

Welcome.

No such thing as a silly question, but some of us do sometimes give silly answers.

Take it nice and slow.

Counterintuitively, it is an easy conversational pace running that builds your stamina and endurance, not fast running.

Say this sentence out loud to yourself "Am I going slow enough to enable me to speak this sentence in one out breath?" If you cannot, you are going too fast.

Have fun.

Im not a natural runner by any stretch of the imagination but im managing. The worst thing you can do is go too fast!! Speed is not important when start out. That comes later. Good luck. You'll be amazed at how fast you improve
