Hi and welcome! ๐
My number one tip is to utilise this forum! Itโs an amazing programme and you can 100% do it, but there will be times when you think you canโt/donโt feel like it. Pop on here with any questions and concerns, and likewise post about your fabulous runs and experiences. We love photos too! ๐
This forum has taken me from zero to happily running 10k+ in less than a year, and I know I wouldnโt have enjoyed it half as much without it.
Good luck and have fun! Running is the best. ๐
Welcome! Top tip: go slow and enjoy running! A surprising number of folks think youโre only running if you whizz along. Not so. Your muscles and breathing are getting used to a whole new world for them, so trundle along and enjoy. ๐๐๐ผ๐
Be prepared that the challenge is more mental than physical! Trust the plan and tell yourself you can achieve each run! Have fun and be proud of your progress!
C25k really is a well thought out plan and really can get you running just go slow and enjoy ๐๐
Welcome to the forum and well done on your decision.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
Enjoy your journey
Take it slow, listen to Laura and you won't believe what you're capable of. I didn't and have astounded myself. It's life-changing! Good luck and above all else ENJOY ๐
Welcome to the gang.
Simple tips:
1. Keep it slow and steady. If in doubt, go slower.
2. Don't fixate on getting to 5k by the end, most of us didn't. It's the running for 30 minutes non-stop that is important.
3. A week is not 7 days, it's the time it takes you to successfully complete each block of 3 runs. My longest "week" lasted 8 months due to injury.
4. Always take your rest days.
5. Just enjoy it and surprise yourself with the results.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it... ๐
