Hello all, it's great to see a site such as this, and i'm hoping your experiences will encourage me on to complete c25k
I'm currently overweight, drink and smoke too much and don't eat that healthily, so after hitting 50 recently it's high time I made changes, so today I've jumped head-first into c25k. My aim is to get fitter and lose weight.. and hopefully change my lifestyle in the process.
I'm amazed to have completed W1R1 fairly easily and I feel great for doing it.
Obviously, things will get more difficult as I get further into the course, but hopefully i'll be able to stick at it.
Well done all who have graduated and all doing the hard yards at present, just reading through the posts on here offer me hope!
Cheers,
Andy

Hi Andy! I have just joined today and plan my first run tomorrow. Feeling a tad nervous!!! I am 37 and an overweight mum of two. Body is starting to ache so I feel it’s time to sort myself out!
Well done for getting started, I know it sounds like a cliché but that really is the hardest part of the whole programme, in my experience! Yes, each week brings a new challenge but the work you have done means that your body will be ready for it. Good luck with the rest of Week 1, let us know how it goes!
Thanks Debston. I think my main issue will be to keep the motivation going to head out 3 times a week for 9 weeks, but we'll see... I know I need to do it... so do it I must!
