So this morning I would normally have been due to be posting on here about my grand finale in the C25k programme, but overnight Storm Arwen had other ideas and buffeted and protested all night long. So this morning I thought it futile to attempt running in such conditions particularly as I’m right at the coast of the Irish Sea, so unfortunately I’ve had to postpone my run until hopefully just tomorrow morning. So instead of running I ventured out for a walk to see what conditions were like. Those northerly winds were on my back pushing me forwards and whipping up the sand into my face so rather than endure them on the return journey I decided to go inland via a farm track into the countryside where it was much calmer but far too uneven and muddy to try to run without incurring injury. Conditions are still quite wild here at the moment but if at all possible I will be running tomorrow morning and celebrating with you all afterwards. Have a great day and stay safe in those winds!

Week 9 Run 3 hit by Storm Arwen
Wise decision.
Your graduation run should be a lap of glory, not a battle against hostile elements.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
I like the sound of "lap of glory" can't wait!
When are you doing your final run Bill?
I still need to complete R3 of week 8 yet. I was going to do it yesterday but the weather said no! Can try and do it later I when the wind dies downbut I've got to repair my fence first😡 failing that it'll be tomorrow but that throws my running days out of sync for next weekso my "lap of glory" will be either Saturday or Sunday next week, fingers crossed!
Good idea, just hope you can sleep tonight and not be too excited for graduation tomorrow 💤😂 good luck Headspace1st smash it👊
Damned weather 😒 Headspace1st. The gale was quite strong here this morning and we had about 3 inches of snow. I'm fortunate that I did my final run on my treadmill. I look forward to your graduation post asap. 😁
Thank you so much. Just waiting for your post now.
