The thing I love is to see so many other runners when I am out and other people I pass just nod/ smile without sniggering at my slow speed 😊

Do you ever snigger at someone doing a gentle jog?

I doubt it ...........and it would not cross the minds of the majority of the population to do so either. The worry of so many new runners that they will get laughed at is very misplaced. Most people will admire you for looking after yourself.

A nice easy conversational pace is the most effective pace at which to develop your aerobic base........faster is not better.

Keep running, keep smiling.

Runners acknowledge other runners. I go out of the way to always wave or call out a greeting to anyone I see out whilst running, even if they're on the other side of the street.

There are some rude ones who don't reply, but they're in the minority.

Not what you're looking for?
