Nothing dramatic - life, an achey calf (which I thought was better) which - luckily - feels ok this morning and a mild bug. Nothing a good nights sleep hasn't put into perspective! Thanks for asking
Thought it was just me! Had a stinking cold for the past week so haven't run for 10 days and am getting decidedly grumpy and frustrated about not being able to run. May venture out today for W7R2 and see how I get on. Before C25K my only addiction was chocolate! Hope you're feeling better today PollyP1 and that your achey calf is still ok.
Thank you, and nope, not just you! Achey calf seems ok after wandering around the house for a bit. I shall go for a decent walk later and run tomorrow (fingers crossed). Hope you, too, are feeling better and that you get a run in soon!
The old adage that you don't know what you've got till its gone. I've been very fortunate and lucky not to have experienced bouts of depression as my close friends have, but the one thing I did notice was how a few days of not exercising and running affected my mental health and happiness.
Indeed! I think walking and running are brilliant for managing moods. Walking helped me lose weight, keep my joints flexible and stay sane in difficult (now past) times. What's not to like. Happy running
I know how you feel, I haven't been able to un for two weeks due to surgery. I had only got up to week 8 but now I can't believe how frustrated I am, not being able to run. Hope you're back running soon.
Thanks, and you. I seem to have aggravated on old back injury but plan to wind back the time and then move forward again. Or at least that's the plan. You'll get there!
