I’ve just finished my final run for week 7 and I actually ran “in public” rather than in my local forest ! I was so self conscious of sounding like I was hyperventilating when passing people but it was fine! I’m way more confident that I thought I’d be, I actually ran for additional time today because I was so zoned out I didn’t hear them tell me time was up !

Good for you. The step up from W7 to W8 is purely mental as the programme has prepared you physically for it. I found it straightforward and am enjoying getting in to a rhythm and sticking to it….slow and steady works for me. Enjoy!
How did you find week 9? I had to take a week or so off due to illness and I honestly thought I could die today 😂
Slow & steady did it for me. I found that my pace was 7 mins per km and that if I stick to it I can complete the 30mins ok and have since extended to 5k. I took the advice of others and simply slowed to a pace that enabled me to complete the time without blowing hard. Do this and you will find Wk9 a breeze. Best of luck....although you won't need it.
