Today I completed week 2 run 2, I rested for a week because I had a chest infection I’m still not fully recovered so I went at a slower pace but I feel better mentally after the run

Slow is good.

The easy conversational pace is the most effective to build your stamina and endurance........faster is not necessarily better.

Say this sentence out loud to yourself "Am I going slow enough to enable me to speak this sentence in one out breath?" If you cannot, you are going too fast.

It is the season of mellow fruitfulness and mellow running,

This is common for all, because you are already went through painful path, so you are little depressed in your mind. So be cool and calm.
