Today the weather is absolutely fowl with a 9m/s icy wind blowing. Hopefully, it will bring some more rain our way. We had a glorious 15mm on Thursday/Friday which the extremely thirsty ground has absorbed in no time - the Karoo region in South Africa has been plagued by drought for absolute ages. Some areas haven't seen a drop rain in 7 years. So, in the past I probably would've switched to exercising today and rather running tomorrow in better weather, but this programme definitely seems to have stopped me taking the easy way out, it's somehow more important to get the run done.
Well, 1 more week to go.... I'm looking so forward to graduating!!! I definitely won't be doing a 30min 5k....that'll be my next programme. 🏃🏻♀️

Well done on going out there! 👍 It takes me a good few minutes of indecision on some days but I know I’ll feel great afterwards. A quick word with gremlins usually fixes everything and I’m out the door. 👍😀
Good run for you today, despite some of the gremlins, well done on completing run 3 of week 8, no rain for 7 years, we are lucky if in the UK it doesn't rain for 7 hours, for your sake in South Africa I hope you have more rain to relieve the drought, onwards and upwards to week 9, good luck for your graduation run, if it rains during your graduation run. 🏃🏾 👍
