After the last one I wasn't going to push as hard and even contemplated an extra day of rest. But the rain had stopped and it looks like more rain tomorrow so off I went.
I usually run before meals so almost regretted my bowl of soup and too much olive bread 1.5 hrs before but just told myself it was fuel for the tank.
I did exactly the same route so I can def say the mileage was wrong on R2. It can't have been 4.49 miles, it was 3.9 same as today. Plus I recorded on 2 seperare apps to make sure I got something!
I think I've extended my stride a little with my new route. Less time spent going uphill and more time to stretch out and go with the flow. My running posture is better and I don't think I've banged my ankles together for a while. 👍😂
I put too many layers on for the weather but it felt cold sitting around doing nothing beforehand. New tip to self... move around a bit before testing the temp!
Really enjoying the 28 mins and looking forward to next week. Sarah has less to say these days and I do miss the half-time bell.
