For the first time I felt really sluggish right from the outset. Around halfway my left calf felt a bit knotted and I was wondering if this might be the one I failed to complete. However, soon after, when I hit 2/3 of the way, I knew I would make it.
It was harder and slower than the last run but it's another competed. I won't over-analyze it, it's another in the bag, it will have done me some good, and maybe I'll hydrate a bit more before the next one.
As ever, I'm looking forward to the next outing, something that I never really expected to say!

Everything going on in our lives can impact on our performance as a runner. Restedness, hydration and nutrition are at the top of my list of variables that need to be optimised to enable enjoyable running.
