Well this went a lot better than I expected. Was slightly nervous about the prospect of running for 8 minutes. I started off a little too fast then after a minute or two realised I would not be able to keep up the pace for that long so slowed it right down and it quite enjoyed it!
This was actually the first time I have run to music and I think it really helped to make the run not feel as long as it was. So will definitely do this for the next one.
I tried to keep it to a brisk walk and then the second run felt really comfortable. I could have kept going for a bit longer.
The infamous R3 here I come!
