After having to borrow my first attempt at W9R1 because my legs just gave up on me after 23 minutes (hard day at work I think) I went back to it after a days rest and I did it!! Didn’t quite get to 5K.. I’m still a bit slow I think but I run for 30 minutes solidly! Two more runs… I do hope I get to 5K

W9R1- second attempt
Well done you've nearly finished the plan!! Don't worry about the speed. Loads of us don't make it to 5k until sometime after graduation (including myself), the important thing is to be able to run 30 minutes non stop .
Congratulations on completing week 9 run 1 .Just 1 hour now to Graduation 😁👍
Don't worry about reaching 5K !
Distance is completely irrelevant, this is purely a time based program !
So you are doing just fine !
It is more important to build your strength and stamina rather than risking injury trying to push for 5K
Well done on persevering.
5k in 30 minutes is a totally arbitrary distance time combination that is achieved by only a small proportion of C25k runners by graduation. See this poll healthunlocked.com/couchto5....
If you read this FAQ post about how to get faster, healthunlocked.com/couchto5... you will see that the way to become a fast runner is, counterintuitively, to run slowly for most of your runs.
Graduation requirements are that you complete three thirty minute runs, regardless of distance.
