What a shame ...... I really have no idea what it is but maybe get it checked over before you run again .... I had many small niggles whilst starting off my C25K journey but they faded. I am sure one of the very helpful people on here will point you in the right direction. .... Hope you are back running very soon.
Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.
While minor aches and pains are inevitable, it is not wise to run in pain, but follow the PRICE principles linked to in the guide to the plan.
My first question to you would be, "Are you wearing well fitting and appropriate footwear?" While you may not wish to fork out for proper running shoes at this stage, having the correct footwear can save you from a whole host of issues, including injury.
