Chuffed to bits! weโve finished week one, we are all still keen and having fun, there were lots of people to run round in the park today and lots of dogs for my friends dog to bark at during the warm up walk, once we started running she trotted along behind.
Bring on week two ๐
Happy weekend all

Thank you, itโs because a friend at work was saying she wishes she could run like me, weโve been pootling along all summer running less and less, so encouraging a friend and pushing myself a little is working well
Hey you two. Lovely to read your re-run adventures ๐. Iโve been enjoying rerunning C25K with my daughter Dabby-dot and week 8 is coming up. She had to finish week 7 without me this morning as Iโm streaming with a cold (not COVID) and so walked the dog as she ran. Sheโs doing brilliantly. You definitely approach it in a more relaxed way when youโve been running a while. Enjoy ๐
It really is fun, my friend just wants to run further and further but sticking her to the programme, we are so stuck for staff i canโt have her injuring herself and being off ๐ but seriously itโs speeding us up and giving her encouragement
I have now got a friend who takes me by car to a parkrun, he's even thinking of doing what we call "parkrun tours" going to a different parkrun each week, I ran run 3 of weeks 5,6,8 and 9 of C25K with him recently, he thanked me for running with him.
Well done all of you! Itโs a great way of revisiting C25K isnโt it- youโll be able to feed off each other as you go. And you have a dog to keep you company!
Feed off each other! yes we do, we talk all the way round too which is great as the time flies, and the little gig just trots along behind then apparently sleeps all day
Well done both and dog! Glad to hear C25k is still enjoyable and uplifting no matter how many times you repeat it.Worth doing it again just to experience the joy!
Great! I did my second run of week 1 today, had two rest days in between for the hip, but it's been all right today. My problem is I want to keep going, but I have to rein myself in and slow down when Laura tells me to. Slow and steady, that's the way
