I'm not sure how I did this, but I managed somehow to miss out W6R2 and do W6R3 instead (25mins running). So the question is this: do I go back and do R2 and then repeat R3 or do I go straight onto Week 7? W6R3 was fine and I even managed to up my pace a little in the last minute (as Sarah suggested), so I'm not sure what to do!
DOH: missed a run and did the next! - Couch to 5K

Silly cookie but well done. If was me I would just repeat the one u done.w6 run3.

Great job on that 25!
Normally I’d say go do the missed run as the weekly load on the legs is important, but at this particular stage of the plan I do not think it will make any difference!
Just going to show my working here.
On all weeks the weekly load goes up with each run. Add the last 3 runs up to see this.
Week 7 however only pushes it up for the first two runs, then run 3 replaces the identical W6R3. This is a mini version of a no-gain/cutback week (that give the body a rest from the relentless pushing on) that you will find in marathon and other plans.
So, you either get that mini break now by doing the missing run, or at W7R3 where it was intended to be.
Of course, the other recommendation here to run W6R3 again means you would get two runs where the weekly load doesn’t increase... which would almost certainly feel rather nice!
I think it is easily done and I am very surprised I have not done it ... Yet !! I personally think as you have done W6R3 already , I would just do that run again.. It is going to be very similar to all your future runs. But I would take the advice of the people in the know!
I did something similar in W6 and just repeated the run, rather than going back.
It just shows how you how much six weeks of running addles the brain............
Thanks everyone. I'll see how I feel the day after tomorrow, although whether I call it W6R3 or W7R1/2 seems a bit academic!
I think I’d do W6R2 because it’s a nice run, then go on to W7. Don’t think it matters though. Do whatever you feel.
I've decided to give myself an extra day's rest and then start on Week 7. A gentle walk with the dog on the downs will be just the thing!
