Laura nearly made me cry... W6R3

As I was doing my five minute walk , I got butterflies but told myself you are ok. I had walked the route earlier in the week, hydrated , done my stretches and done my visualising... I started the run all good and then the app was back at the start , so did much of the run trying to get the app back to where it should be , checking my Garmin for accuracy ( I hold my phone when running and squeeze it).. Anyway it probably distracted me ! Laura said I was now officially a runner or something like that and I gave a small choke ...... Then a huge smile . I had done it.

Morning Mrs Run Well done , it’s bloody hard but you are doing it … you over came the hurdle and kept going all down to you …👏👏👏 I wear leggings that have a side pocket and leave my phone in there and wear head phone leads , so much better than holding your phone . I held my phone at first and have done the same . Or try a phone waist bag .

You are over half way . Smile 😁😁

Yes my leggings only have a back waist pocket for my car keys, I think a waist phone belt would fit the bill thanks. I have jaw bone headphones for walking , so off to the shops I go later . Thank you for the tips.

Great stuff! I don’t think I could run holding my phone any more... but I do have all the C25K runs and more in Garmin connect now.

Now you got this... enjoy closing it out.

I do love your user name. Garmin connect , I will look that up. I actually can't believe it but I do think I am getting this running lark and most certainly have got the bug.... Even though I am very slow!

I love this xx

Brilliant.

I started off holding my phone too but kept squeezing it too hard and losing the app. I then progressed to a waist man bag money belt thing for my phone and keys. I did find the stuff bouncing in the money belt thing slightly off-putting so now further advanced to an arm phone strap holder which is perfect.

A super run even with the tech issues! The same happened to me once - I had no idea how far I’d done or anything. I got quite emotional during a run one time, there was such a cute little dog, I nearly burst into tears! You are almost in the home straight now, hurrah! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Well done Mrs run. Sometimes the thinking is harder than the doing. Maybe your phone issues were a distraction and you forgot about the running bit! Anyhow good luck with the rest and on to graduation.

Fantastic effort Mrs Run, I had same issues, I got an arm strap phone holder, it is my best purchase yet! On to wk7 next, you got this 😉

Aww bless you, I was hoping it was the "You are now officially a runner" comment and Laura hadn't suddenly gone rogue on us 😳😆

Fabulous, well done fellow runner 👏😊

It is so encouraging when a voice on a podcast tells you that you're a runner. It's the same when you hear that there's no such thing as a bad run. Those are phrases that stick in one's head.
