referring to when he said "you are now officially a runner", me! wow so very happy and just a little bit proud. Mixed run really, first & 3rd 5 mins really hard, 2nd and 4th 5 mins felt good and the last 5 mins I then believed I could complete it and even gave a little and I mean little bit of pace as suggested by Michael.
We will be away for the first two runs of week 7 but looking forward to it as scenery will be different, coastal in Norwich, so hoping that will help. Make a change from canal paths in Brum.
I have entered Solihull Race for Life 5k in June and even if I cant run the entire 5k which is very doubtful, I can use the run to consolidate my 30 min runs, all going well
Hope everyone is having a good week and happy running

Going for W6R3 tomorrow, so we will see !!!!! Really well done on your achievement. This time last week I was bricking it worrying about the 20 mins, but that went a million times better than i could ever have imagined so the 25 mins is not quite so daunting, but it is still a long run and i am by no way confident but I will give it my best shot.
Oh yes... many of us jumped up and down.. punched the air or burst in to tears at this point... I nearly scared an old lady to death.. quite forgetting that I too was an old lady !
Well done, weβve got our 20 min wk 5 run tonight....dreading it but expect to feel elated when itβs over. Weβre run around Brum also, so might pass u one time x
Hi, well done! I've just done the same run this morning. I found the 1st, 2nd and 5th 5mins, the most difficult but as suggested by Jo, I managed to stagger from a slow jog into a trot for the last minute - not quite the suggested 'sprint' but pleased I'm now onto week 7. Good luck!
