Planned a run this morning. Woke up early and then just laid in bed having that internal conversation, whether to get up and run or turn over for another half an hour. Surprisingly the running won. Week 6 completed and feels like it is serious now. Propper runs all the way to the end and graduation hopefully. Took the advice on here, took it slow (is there such a thing as too slow?). Got to 20 mins and feeling good so picked up the pace just a little. Who knew this was possible 6 weeks ago.

Huge well done you!
The runs now are wonderful for relaxing into; perfect for slow and steady and for letting the newly forming running legs do their own thing Enjoy the run up to that podium
Remember to, to maybe up your strength and stamina exercise on some of your rest days the running body has to keep in line with those legs... the S and F forum is the place to head for some great ideas to help
The only way to be too slow is to stay in bed! Well done for getting out there, it sounds like you're getting the bug!
Brilliant , you did it. I don't think there is too slow for me! 6 weeks and you just run 25 minutes ... If you stayed in bed you would have been dreaming about running 25 minutes but no you actually did it.. And I bet you feel good, really good!
" (is there such a thing as too slow?)"
No.
"Who knew this was possible 6 weeks ago."
Me and a load of others here did
Well done... now crack on... the home straight beckons.
Well done for fighting off the gremlins. I find that when I start slow I need to run slower. 80% of the run should be at a steady pace then you can really push it for the last 20% - Keep up the excellent work.
