Needed to get from where I was, to the car. It was wet, but it needed doing. Thought it was 5km. It wasn’t. Just 4km. Completed at a slow pace on wet, uneven ground.

It must be nice to know you can just run when needed!

It is great. 3 years ago I could barely walk. I’m very happy.

This morning my husband asked how far I was going to run and I said ‘oh, only 5km’ and he laughed as it’s only a couple of months since that was a huge goal distance for me 😂

Don’t get me wrong, 5km is a big run for me currently because I don’t go out regularly enough, (but I’m working on it). I know that 5km is do-able though, and once you’ve completed C25K half the battle is mental. Hoping once I’ve completed it again, I’ll see an improvement in my fitness, but that really comes with regular running. I find work and life get in the way.
