Decided to wait till Thursday for w8 r2 as I’ve a bit of a sore calf, to say I got wet is an understatement, the heavens opened , the wind howled, the earphones packed up and the sore calf got worse.
If you saw a fat middle aged chap running round Melton Mowbray looking wet and miserable that was me, feel no sympathy because I loved it.
Hot bath, G &T and a bite to eat and I was good as new. ( except the calf muscle which hurts like buggery.)

Well done for powering through. Not had to deal with a soaking yet, not looking forward to it either but I will think of your perseverance when it happens to me
Hi Oldfloss, just checking rolling technique - roll when my ankle is relaxed and toes "floppily pointed" so my calf muscles are relaxed??? I can see that would increase blood supply & massage the tissues. 😀
Currently an old rolling pin (!!😂) which rolls without the handles having to - means I can roll it smoothly the whole length of the calf.- It is smooth wood and I have been keeping it on the radiator so it will be warm. You might be pleased to hear that I don't use it for pastry anymore! Calf pie takes on a whole new meaning! Those 2 clips are great thanks. 😃
Christmas Day in a light rain I was out there running very slowly completing week 8 run 2 then getting nagged at for delaying present opening. Christmas, I wouldn't have it any other way
