Well I managed W9R3 today and ran 4K, but no one’s counting right?! 60 days after starting I’m 1.5 stone lighter, my resting pulse rate is down 10 points to 58bpm and I’m far less stressed. Working in the NHS has been a challenge this year so taking some time for myself has been great and boy, do I feel fabulous today! Thanks for all the support and especially to the admins for your time and patience answering novice questions which I’m sure you’ve seen time and time again. And to all hoping to graduate this month….COME ON CLASS OF JULY 21!!! You’ve got this and I look forward to reading your graduation posts. Happy running everyone! 🏃♂️🏃♀️🏃🏼
C25k complete! (4K in my case 😊): Well I... - Couch to 5K
Couch to 5K
Well done Dee2609, all NHS are heroes in my eyes. I hope you keep 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️ It does get rid of workplace stress and keeps your bolt click young. Happy 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️
Huge, huge well dones......but are you still a bit delirious Dee2609? W3R3???? LOL. Happy Graduation and good luck in future running.
Omg well done Dee!! So proud of you. I've told hubby I'm definitely completing it this month if a little behind you now. Jealous of you losing weight. I'm sure my scales are stuck!!! Im doing wk 7 run 3 tomorrow but as i said i definitely want to be a July graduate. Well done again and thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you in the NHS have done and gone through xxx
Congratulations on your graduation 😁👍👏👏👏Don't forget to claim your Graduate badge here ⬇️
Woo hoo Dee! You are brill 😊. Super duper well done 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆.
Well done on your graduation especially with all the stress you must have been through in work. The 5k in the title is just that, the aim is to run for 30 minutes and you've succeeded.
Thank you (and all in the health service) so much for all you have done and are continuing to do. You all deserve medals 🏅 <3
Woooooohoooooo!!!!! Congratulations Dee2609 well done on your final run and graduation 🎉🏃🏻♀️💪💥
4km is great and the fact you've lost weight and reduced your resting heart rate and less stressed.
A huge thank you to you for working for the NHS during this awful time.
Hope to see you in consolidation club class of July 21 graduation 👨🎓
Well Done fellow runner Dee2609 - It's good to have some me time now and again. If you haven;t already check out the consolidation club thread for ideas post C25K from strength and flex exercises to the C25K+ speed and stamina podcasts which will all help you improve your running and technique.
You will get to 5k Dee2609 every run is an improvement. 👍
So pleased for you a great achievement and I agree this has been great for the mind in our current situation and working in the NHS you have certainly had it tough. Nobody is watching your distance just seeing someone happy in their stride, now comes the time to build strength and just enjoy being a runner! 💙🏃♀️🎉
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 WELL DONE!
I’ve got week 9 run 3 tonight, I’ll join your July graduate class hopefully!
Wish I’d lost 1.5 stone though 🙈 How did you do that?
Hi GrannyPigsPerfume, good luck this evening, rooting for you!! Just heathy eating and a bit of intermittent fasting, nothing extraordinary but I had gained weight in the last year so to be honest it was ready to fall off! Go smash W9R3 and I’ll see you in consolidation! Xx
Thanks Dee … you are an inspiration! I’ll be thinking of you as I puff and pant tonight and imagine our virtual celebratory glass of fizz!! Yes, see you in consolidation! Ps. I’m only down the road in West Sussex, so blimmin hilly!
Well done on the C25K and the weight loss!
Yay! Well done! It's a great feeling isn't it? I felt like I'd won a medal in the Olympics! Keep it up! Xx
