Well I’m still on track and definitely getting better. My breathing is ok but I have noticed the calve in one leg is aching as I’m running is this normal? It feels like the beginning of cramp but then never gets any worse (thank goodness) I drink plenty of water and do stretches before and after each run and run very slow. Any tips or advice very welcome. Many thanks

This happened to me in the early days on C25K and I found that my foot was hitting the ground too hard for my old trainers.
This post that is a must read for everyone starting or returning to running after a break, it explains heelstrike and overstriding which can cause leg pain and injury. It also includes a link for leg and knee exercises for runners.
