Hello, I’ve had around 2 and a half weeks off running due to illness. I graduated about 3 months ago and had been running 30 minutes 2-3 times a week until this point. Any tips on starting up again?

Hi, hope your now feeling better !Why not go out for a gentle no pressure jog , you probably haven't lost much fitness in the 2 weeks but go with

no planned time or distance in mind , just go and see what you can do ! and enjoy your surroundings.

Make sure your still hydrated though after a break and I'd try not to do it in the heat of the day , good luck and

Happy running 👍

As stated in the guide to the plan, healthunlocked.com/couchto5... you lose no significant condition in the first two weeks of non running.

After that loss of condition is gradual.

All any of us can do after a lay off is to go out and see what we can comfortably manage, then build back up gently, using C25k or something similar as a guide to weekly increase.
