Blimey, i found this run tougher than the first run of week 9 and on a few occasions had the little demons on my shoulder pecking in my head to stop -"just the once, it wont hurt" lol.
As my energy was draining i was waiting for Laura to give me her last bursts of encouragement and finally my usual "finish line" was in sight. At last. Come on Laura, say the magic words. Please..... But they didn't come. To my dismay, when i glanced at my watch (i dont usually do this in case it is bad news) i saw that i had another minute and a half to do.
Clearly Laura hadn't fallen asleep and wasn't in need of recalibration, i had obviously built up my stamina without realising and managed to run further in the same amount of time.
It was quite a shock!

I like it to when Laura says “you’ve only got one minute to go”, and always feel chuffed about my run as I do the cool down walk. One more run to go. I am wondering about next Monday when I run without Laura encouraging me.

I'm just going to enjoy it Dave. Put my music on and tootle round the route. I might do 2 runs at about 25 minutes which is basically a lap to my front door then go a bit further on the third run and walk back. See how it goes.
