Here we go again..... well tomorrow!
I graduated couch to 5K last year then had a dodgy knee and have only ran twice since then, the last time being November so I m starting from the beginning and this time carrying extra weight.

Hope all goes well! Take it steady. I enjoyed the second time around of C25K more because I knew what to expect and when to take extra rest.
🌸😊🌸
Good luck 👍
Also a 2nd timer! Good luck 🍀
I’m a second timer too and loved the regime a second time around .. you know what to expect and we’re all here to encourage and cheer you on 😀🏃♀️
Good luck. Ran first program on treadmill, now halfway through second program and enjoying it.
Take it easy on the knees.
Enjoy 🏃♀️👟
I’m slightly ahead of you. I completed C25K 18 months ago, then knackered my knee, has 6 months of physio and hospital visits trying to resolve it and eventually just took 4 months off completely. I started running again 3-4 months ago and now I’m back up to 9k runs. Good luck, you’ll get there again, and it’s worth the effort!
What did you do your knee? I have itb problems and they don't seem to be going away
It’s a good question and after an MRI and several visits to an orthopaedic surgeon I didn’t get an answer. They got as far as offering exploratory surgery to have a look but I opted for taking a total break from all strenuous knee activity and that seems to have done the job.
I hope the ITB gets sorted, that whole angst of wanting to do some exercise but not being able to is very frustrating.
I have also completed C25K twice, the second time was much easier because I knew what to expect and I knew the programme had prepared you for the next runs and it was achievable, best of luck you’ll do great 👍🏼
Me too (although I don’t have the excuse of the dodgy knee for not continuing after I completed the course the first time). I thought it would be tougher this time as I’ve lost the daily exercise of the commute but so far it’s been easier - just started W6. If I can do it anyone can - I loathed PE, don’t enjoy exercise classes or the gym and can’t swim so basically an exercise disaster for many years. Good luck this time around the sun!
Best of luck getting started again. It will never be as tough as the first time because you've been there and done it before. I'm similar situation , recovering from injuries since Christmas and on one hand I'm hoping to get back running again and on the other hand I feel my motivation has really slipped. Going back to work leaves less free time and more reasons to be tired and bug out.
But the evenings are long and bright so just have to bite that bullet once I've got the go ahead from the Physio.
