I also tend to breathe through my mouth when running ,I can take in more air that way and to me it feels more natural .I have now been breathing for 64 years and not had a problem , apart from a few weeks ago I did take in a fly on a run ! 🤣

Best advice I got is to breath as naturally and normally as possible. I’m a mouth breather, too. Only problem is insects!😂

I'm a mouth breather too. Nothing wrong with it according to numerous articles and well-respected running videos I've seen. I guess the main thing is to get enough oxygen into those lungs; it doesn't matter how it gets there, unless there is some other underlying issue

I’m the same, a shallow breather all my life I was never able to run (or jive in those days) and that stopped any efforts to run. At 79 C25K has been a breakthrough, amazingly I have control of my breathing and now, on my last week, once warmed up my breathing feels comfortable and natural. At long last I’m going to be a runner!
