Phew! 3 straight runs of 25 minutes now. I’m really starting to appreciate that once I’ve got a pace and the breathing all set up it really starts to work well. It only seems to become apparent as the runs get a bit longer and are not broken by a walking section.
Looking forward to week 8!

Thanks Frenc. I’m thinking another 3 minutes on top of the 25 can’t be as much of a percentage as doing say the 20 minutes at the end of week 5 so.... fingers crossed!,
Hi Vanguard12, Great to hear of your progress. I find that as well. It came as a real surprise to me that after the first 10 minutes of struggling I then really warmed up and with a steady pace my breathing seems to settle. Still find it challenging but more doable than some of the shorter stop and start runs. Not long now til you graduate.
Thanks for the replies Sky-Runner & DylanTheRabbit. I’m sure that once I get a good rhythm going I don’t worry about the time or distance and start to really enjoy just the running. Hoping for a gap in the rain tomorrow to start week 8!.
